Teachers' Views and Experiences Regarding Acquiring Analytical Thinking Skills in the Middle School Mathematics Curriculum

In this research, the level of acquiring analytical thinking skills in secondary school mathematics curriculum was examined according to opinions and experiences teachers. The research carried out by phenomenology pattern, one qualitative designs. performed with voluntary participation eight teachers working public schools central district Bursa Türkiye. selection teachers, it considered that they had experience curriculum, at least five years professional experience, received in-service training on curriculum. about were obtained using a semi-structured interview form. data analyzed content analysis, themes created. According results, found insufficient for gaining skills. teachers' experiences, textbooks' questions activities are teacher leaving students alone non-routine supports their addition, modeling technique helps embody process. stated applications textbooks prepared assume every student would learn same pace similarly. has been revealed wanted work rote, not wanting tire minds getting used ready-made difficult them acquire high-level such as thinking. Some suggestions have developed results obtained.
